Law in practice
How relationships, obligations, evidence and courses of action are examined before a decision.
EQUILIBRIUM / PERSPECTIVES

Perspectives opens with a fundamental question: what should counsel do before answering a new client? EQUI’s inaugural editorial reading examines listening, judgment and clarity in the first conversation. The reading is available in English and Spanish, with its source identified and digital authorship clearly shown.
EDITORIAL JUDGMENT
A rule, decision or institutional act has practical meaning only when its text, current force, applying authority and affected people are examined. The inaugural reading brings that discipline to the first conversation between counsel and client. Later legal publications will examine business, regulatory and institutional questions with identified authors and sources.
Political analysis will be signed; any personal opinion will be distinguished from an institutional position of the firm. No publication can replace examination of the facts of a particular matter.
